If you have the chance to do some <a title=\"Will Chef Todd Find Healthy Eating During Paris Travels?\" href=\"https:\/\/webcookingclasses.com\/will-chef-todd-find-healthy-eating-during-paris-travels\/cooking\/5323\/\" target=\"_self\">Paris travel<\/a>ing, make sure you pay attention to the <a title=\"What Would You Hide if the Food Police Raided Your Kitchen?\" href=\"https:\/\/webcookingclasses.com\/what-would-you-hide-if-the-food-police-raided-your-kitchen\/cooking\/3890\/\" target=\"_self\">healthy eating<\/a> taking place everywhere you go.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/ghBHwxfcX5I\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>In fact, I\u2019m starting to notice a big difference in the flavor of items in Paris<\/strong>. The real butter in the croissants has so much more flavor than I\u2019ve ever tasted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Why does food just seem so much better in Paris?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Louvre museum was a fantastic afternoon of viewing the world\u2019s greatest art treasures.<\/strong> But you know me, I\u2019m more interested in a search for the greatest French Food Finds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Vendor Baguette Sandwich<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The amount of open space is impressive here. <\/strong>The Parisians use the open space and leisurely pace to great benefit. In this park, there are families, joggers, men playing chess, boys playing soccer, and babies feeding ducks. But, I\u2019m most interested in the vendor selling baguette sandwiches for lunch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This sandwich, like everything I\u2019ve eaten so far is very simple, but tastes better than anything I\u2019ve ever had.<\/strong> What made it so wonderful? It was simply a great baguette, one slice of ham, one slice of cheese, and a thin swipe of Dijon mustard. It wasn&#8217;t slathered in sauce and tasted more like <a title=\"What Would You Hide if the Food Police Raided Your Kitchen?\" href=\"https:\/\/webcookingclasses.com\/what-would-you-hide-if-the-food-police-raided-your-kitchen\/cooking\/3890\/\" target=\"_self\">healthy eating<\/a> than anything I expected from a street vendor in my <a title=\"Will Chef Todd Find Healthy Eating During Paris Travels?\" href=\"https:\/\/webcookingclasses.com\/will-chef-todd-find-healthy-eating-during-paris-travels\/cooking\/5323\/\" target=\"_self\">Paris travel<\/a>s. In fact, I\u2019ve yet to see anything food \u201csuper sized\u201d or advertised for a very cheap price here in Paris.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Surrounded By Art<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The dome of Sacre Cour cathedral is on the highest point in Paris, in Monmartre<\/strong>. This artist\u2019s town is also the home of famous Moulin Rouge nightclub and many artists like Toulouse LeTrec, Vincent Van Gough, and Pablo Picasso.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For me, the art was in the caf\u00e9 as Heather and I sat down to the best pizza I\u2019ve ever had,<\/strong> but again it was too simple to be believed. A basic, delicate yeast dough crust, crushed fresh tomatoes, a few slices of cheese and whole basil leaves. The flavor of that basil stayed in my nose for hours! I wasn\u2019t in Paris long enough to taste every single bakery item,<\/strong> but I sure tried. And what I remember thinking was that each one was the work of someone\u2019s hands, not a machine. And, when I bought an extra croissant that afternoon, it was hard and stale by the next morning. No preservatives. Get it simple, get it fresh, eat it now.<\/p>\n<p>All this food exploring made me tired, so it\u2019s time to find another caf\u00e9. In the market of Rue Cler, we enjoyed a great, light snack with some wine and cheese plate at Caf\u00e9 Du Marche.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More Art<\/strong><br \/>\nThere was a feast for the eyes at the Orangerie Museum where we got to view Monet\u2019s Water Lillies. But the beauty doesn&#8217;t stop there. You can\u2019t toss a croissant without hitting a cathedral in Paris. Our quick tour of the beautiful stained glass of St. Chapel only made me hungry for dinner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More Healthy Eating in our Paris Travels<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>That evening, we went to the smallest restaurant I\u2019ve ever seen.<\/strong> It was so small, that I couldn\u2019t get photos of every part, or I\u2019d have to stand outside. In fact, the kitchen only served 5 tables. But here\u2019s the key\u2026they served some of the most amazing and artistic food I\u2019ve ever had.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The frogs legs were ever so lightly dredged,<\/strong> not deep fried in a beer batter. The escargot was in a parsley butter that just HAD to be mopped up with fresh baguette.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paris Videos<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>What a great day of food in Paris, everything so flavorful yet so simple<\/strong>.
