Medieval Meal is the Strangest Paris Food Yet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In my Paris travels, I\u2019ve been examining Paris food<\/strong> while trying to figure out why it is so flavorful, fresh, and makes me feel so good after I\u2019ve eaten.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/66qEAO9a0J4\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>While I spent hours with my <a href=\"https:\/\/webcookingclasses.com\/discover-%E2%80%9Cras-el-hanout%E2%80%9D-%E2%80%93-parisian-spice-store-owner%E2%80%99s-cooking-spice-blend\/cooking\/5467\">Paris guide<\/a><\/strong> to all things food, Pascal Mierve, owner of L\u2019 Epicerie Fine in Paris, I ignored most of his advice last night. Pascal is a multi-generational grocer and spice dealer, and advises that the reason Paris food is so good is that it\u2019s simple food. It\u2019s made from simple ingredients and served in appropriate portions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Last night, I had the strangest meal in the strangest restaurant I\u2019ve ever been in.<\/strong> It also turned into the strangest night of my <a href=\"https:\/\/webcookingclasses.com\/why-eating-healthy-food-is-easy-with-paris-cuisine\/cooking\/5462\/\">Paris travels<\/a>. The Medieval restaurant served everything \u201ccommunity\u201d style. This means that your salad is a large basket of whole vegetables that you choose, then pass to the next table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The wine flowed, and I ultimately found myself invited to a French bachelor party.<\/strong> Guillame was getting married the next day and we helped him celebrate Medieval style.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I had only known how the day would end when I got on the train to Versailles<\/strong> earlier that morning.
