You will NEVER see a Chef Todd recipe book because…
Cooking is NOT about following recipes!
If you cook with dependable and repeatable METHODS,
you gain CONFIDENCE in how to cook.
Confidence brings out your CREATIVITY,
and you start to cook ANY ingredient for ANY diet or ANY desire,
so you’re never fooled by a recipe again.
(Why is cooking the only art form that requires written instructions?)
Bahhaha. Got me.
You dork. April Fools indeed. I was already buying it because you’re such a good teacher. Thanks for the laugh.
You got me! This “book” rocked my world. I’ve been working my way through the lessons. I thought “done” was ruled by the thermometer. But the fact that this book existed meant that I didn’t understand anything. Darn it – cooking is hard!! I clicked on the link… and everything made sense again. Happy April Fool Chef Todd!
I’m becoming a bigger fan of yours every day, Chef Todd. The flavors happening in my kitchen are blowing my mind, and so much of it is inspiration from you. I’m on the cusp of a new signature dish, and my first sous vide experiment was yesterday. Your “just the chef in his own kitchen” (no crew) vids are pure gold. I suggest a virtual tip jar.
Good one…I was saying to myself “now I know he said in the online cooking class that set times are for recipe cooking”. WTH!!!
I didn’t remember it was April fools, but I was wondering what was up. You said in class use thermometer till done. Good one hade to look, figured I might of missed something in the class, thanks needed that
You are sooo bad! You got me! Cooked some wonderful braised beef short ribs last night served over egg noodles. Forgot to take a picture and my husband ate that all. Made a sauce with the drippings. Cooked them in a small amount of red wine that I used to deglaze the pot. Cooked them in my instant pot and they were wonderful. Learning to have a little more confidence in the kitchen! Thanks!
I wondered what you were going to do with that one! ??? My first April Fools joke of the day. Thank you. Got me laughing.
Best one ever?
Well, the first thing I thought is, this is going to be a one-page book. Lol Your right Chef, Until it’s done.
Hahahahahaha!!!! You are the best!
You got me.
I knew you were up to something! Happy to hear you didn’t fall off your soapbox! Cool ??
The second I clicked on the information that says how long to cook everything… I remembered it was April Fool’s Day … And and also from the very beginning you’ve always said to your students that you cook it until it’s done!
So, I saw the title and thought you went “to the other side”! So glad you’re true to your heart. Until it’s done!
Good one! I thought “.Well that’s odd? He always says Until Done!”
Happy April Fool’s Day! Good one
That is just a cruel joke lol I was really wanting it!
I had to check! I really thought I’d been hacked. Good job.
Would love to have a copy, as I am already a CCW member
I knew it was April fools day but I had to look.

Should have known! Thank you for your great classes!

My grandmother passed away eight years ago, and would fool me every April 1st. I said to my daughter last night, no one will fool me tomorrow. Nice one Chef Todd. Thank you for the laughter. Have a blessed day…Enjoy!
